Welcome to the official tournament website of the YONEX German Junior.
The YONEX German Junior is the leading international badminton tournament for players under the age of 19 from around the world. Up to 400 talented players from more than 35 nations compete against each other in Lüdinghausen (Germany)—players you will soon see at European championships, World Cups, and the Olympic Games.
The tournament is part of the BWF (Badminton World Federation) Junior International Series and, as a Grand Prix, is considered the highest category in youth badminton. There are four such tournaments worldwide, two in Asia and two in Europe.
When the event took place in Lüdinghausen for the first time last year, it was a great success for everyone involved! Consequently, our club—SC Union 08 Lüdinghausen—will once again host the 44th Yonex German Junior International 2027 in partnership with the DBV, taking place from March 10 to 14, 2027, at the Drei-Burgen-ARENA in Lüdinghausen.
